The Album is taking form! 

I have the incredible honor of working with the guitarist “Richie” Richard Olausson on this album. Probably the best guitarist I ever met! He’s also an amazing songwriter, and I have co-written most of these songs with him.

This musical adventure started three years ago, and it has really been a journey for me as an artist and songwriter. The sound on this record has changed a lot during the process. The album we started to produce is not the same album we will be releasing. Almost every song on this album has both been rewritten and re-recorded several times. 

Finally, the songs have landed in a sound landscape I’m very happy with. A sound landscape that I think fits the lyrics, which is very important to me as a songwriter. The lyrics are a huge part of my songwriting. For me, the whole idea of writing and producing a song is to tell a story or capture a moment/ a feeling. And that’s the reason why we have rewritten and re-recorded these songs several times. For me, it’s not enough that it sounds good. The most important thing to me on this record has been that the lyrics and the sound landscape are working together. And I’m very happy with where these songs finally have landed sound-wise. 

At the writing moment, we still have work to do in the studio, so I can’t promise you a release date yet but I’m really looking forward to sharing these songs with you!
